Q: Is i-appreciate.org a non-profit organization (NPO)?

A: Yes, i-appreciate.org is fully registered as a non-profit organization with the state of Illinois.

Q: Is i-appreciate.org affiliated with any specific religion or religious organization?

A: No. i-appreciate.org has volunteers and works with people of all different faiths and ethnicity. It is our goal to work with people of diverse backgrounds to help any victim of domestic violence.

Q: How are the proceeds from the shirts and donations used by i-appreciate.org?

A: The money that is obtained through the sale of shirts or donations are used to fund many different programs (e.g. supporting women’s shelters, funding educational programs, and the production of educational information to name a few). It is our long-term goal to establish a scholarship fund for children who grew up in households where domestic violence was present to help pay for their college education.

Q: Is i-appreciate.org tax exempt (or 501 c 3)?

A: Unfortunately, at this time we are not a tax exempt non-profit organization. We are working towards getting tax exempt status but this will take some time. We still encourage everyone to help support us by purchasing shirts or giving any modest donation that you can afford.

Q: How can I help i-appreciate.org become successful?

A: First, we ask that you tell all of your friends, family and co-workers about our website and encourage them to join the mailing list. Second, if you want to be actively involved in helping i-appreciate.org, we suggest that you go to the volunteer page and sign up to volunteer your time and effort towards helping victims of domestic violence.

Q: How can I get in touch with the President of i-appreciate.org?

A: To get in touch with the President, please direct all e-mails to altamash@i-appreciate.org and make sure to include i-appreciate.org in the subject heading.

Q: What do the phrases on the shirts stand for/mean?

A: The phrases on the shirts are meant to be an oath that everyone tries to uphold by purchasing the shirts. The general meaning behind them is to promote good and stand up against evil.

Q: How do I know what size to order?

A: Our black “oath” shirt seems to run smaller than normal (and is more fitted/slim) and our white “oath” shirt sizing seems to run true to fit. But for a better idea of sizing please visiting our Store Page.

Q: How long does shipping generally take?

A: Please allow 3-5 business days for the processing and shipping of your order. We try and get your order out within 24 hours, but due to high volumes your shipment may be delayed. If you have not received your shirt in 5 business days then please contact us.

Q: Why was the print different on my shirt than the image on your site?

A: Because our printing is so unique (i.e. it is an all over the shirt printing), the location of the phrases on a shirt varies from shirt to shirt. As such the text placement on the shirt you receive will be slightly different than the actual image in our store section. The reason is that we print the phrases on the fabric before we stitch the shirts to ensure the highest quality of our shirts.

Q: Can I refund or exchange my order?

A: We will only refund your order if there is a severe defect present. This does not include different placement of text (please refer to the above question about different placement of text). We will exchange your order if: a) you require a different size and the size is in stock b) the original shirt is received in brand new condition and has never been worn.

The buyer will be responsible for additional shipping charges

If there are questions that you may still have and are not answered above, please contact us and we will try and get back to you as soon as possible.
